PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (Live Events, Live Streaming, Pop-ups, Airstream Tours)

We are seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor with a strong understanding in technical, fabrication, builds and logistics to manage a team of production managers in our office in Torrance. This position reports directly to the Director of Events. This is an integral position which involves working closely with the Creative and Production Teams collaborating on planning, design, budget and onsite installations. Project management and oversight are central to this position. As Production Supervisor, we expect you to be organized, self-motivated, and be able to approach unique problems in new ways.

This is a full-time salary position starting immediately. Candidates must live in the LA Area. Salary DOE.

In your role as Production Supervisor, you will be expected to perform the following essential duties:

  • Manage production managers, including assigning individual responsibilities and setting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Researching, budgeting, and implementing latest cost-effective technologies and innovative solutions to enhance live event productions
  • Manage both on-site and remote based production workflow
  • Support all operational and production components of event activations, including monitoring progress against schedules, transportation, install, strike, labor, A/V, power, and other related tasks
  • Manage the procurement, safeguarding, and utilization of all physical components of event activations
  • Manage project production communications and documentation of any issues, changes, or required performances that impact the project
  • Secure all applicable insurance and permitting as needed
  • Secure all labor required for events
  • Manage client relationships on production related issues, as well as manage client needs and expectations.
  • Manage production staff, including assigning individual responsibilities and setting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Manage production schedules and logistics
  • Source venues and vendors and negotiate contracts with venues and vendors
  • Liaise with in-house Design and Operations divisions to reach client goals for each project
  • Prepare documents for events, including run-of-show, production schedules, labor schedules, technical specs sheets, power/AV/lighting documents, layouts, etc.
  • Facilitate in production team mentoring, support and training as needed
  • Serve as key point of contact for issues arising with production logistics, escalating issues and recommendations to senior management team as needed
  • Maintain and develop business relationships with production partners/vendors
  • Determine and manage specific production needs to ensure that agency-wide creative needs are met and balanced across productions
  • Attend festivals, conferences and sales trips as required
  • Work with recruitment team on management of internal and external talent for production manager and coordinator positions
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership, mentorship and motivational abilities
  • Support events team in wrapping up events with vendor & venue communication with regards to production elements, providing all final costs and receipts for production related vendors for reconciliation and provide key learnings specific to production
  • Manage production builds
  • Work with design, accounts, and production teams for RFP Responses
  • Schedule crew and maintain accuracy of crew timekeeping
  • Other duties might be added as the position evolves

  • Responsible for working with Director of Events to set approved technical budgets at start of projects
  • Monitor project costs in line with technical production progress and overall budgetary targets
  • Meet regularly with Production Managers and Producers to monitor project budgets and ensure that projects are working within given technical/builds and budget targets
  • Supervise and manage technical cost reports for each production

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has 7 to 10 years’ experience in production (events, airstream tours, pop-up, livestreaming)
  • Strong knowledge in technical, basic builds, permitting, and other production elements
  • Exemplary leadership with superb communications & organizational skills
  • Strategic thinking about overall event plans, execution and budget
  • Wide array of industry contacts
  • Possess understanding of big picture budget management, strategic thinking about overall event plans & execution
  • Approaches problems with solution-based attitude

We are seeking a part-time Junior Staff Accountant to join our growing agency!

The Junior Staff Accountant will work closely with senior account staff in all aspects of daily accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, able to keep up in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with numbers, filing, and pays attention to details. The goal of the Junior Staff Accountant is to contribute to the overall operation of the department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure completeness of invoice/payment package
  • Assist with, or at times lead, crew hour payroll
  • Assist with reviewing and entering accounts payable invoices
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of various accounts including merchant accounts
  • Prepare electronic payments (wires) to vendors and manage documentation
  • Perform project job costing for all events
  • Filing, scanning and other administrative duties
  • Maintain the filing system for all payables and file customer/vendor files and contracts
  • Assist with month end close process
  • Close out small event budgets
  • Support other team members as necessary
  • Provide support to the Accounting Department
  • Always maintain a professional demeanor, particularly when interacting with external clients

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or related
  • 0-2 years of Accounting experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Dependable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills (especially with data entry and filing)
  • Reliable, trustworthy and has strong follow-through
  • Good time management and prioritization abilities
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
