For the fourth year in a row, PC Gamer and Future teamed up to host their annual PC Gaming Show at Los Angeles’ historic Wiltern Theater. They sought to create a live show surrounding E3, featuring exclusive gaming announcements, trailer reveals, and interviews with some of PC gaming’s most interesting and influential developers. The Visionary Group was tapped to put on a seamless, visually captivating, and engaging show that would entertain and inform viewers onsite, as well as those watching at home through a live-stream on Twitch.tv (the full program can be viewed HERE).

CONCEPT

For their fourth annual PC Gaming Show, Future and PC Gamer desired a visually impactful stage design that would look amazing in person and translate beautifully onto the small screen for live-stream viewers at home.  TVG brought the stage to life through custom fabric walls and strategic usage of lighting, infusing a variety of colors into the show to keep audiences on their toes.

PRODUCTION

The Visionary Group handled stage design, event look & feel, and graphic design and production for signage & branding. TVG put together – and managed – the master ROS for the show, working with audio, lighting, and stage management teams to make sure the show was always on track with timing and cues. TVG also handled production and talent management onsite, working hand-in-hand with live-stream partners Paragon. Additionally, TVG helped ensure that all sponsor branded areas were up to par and ran smoothly, including the Drake’s Cakes photo-op featuring Webster the Duck.
