For the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 + Galaxy Edge, TVG worked with PMK*BNC to conceptualize, fabricate, and execute an influencer dinner and after-party featuring DJ Kiss, DJ MOS, and Disclosure. The goal of the event was to organically promote the new phones using interactive vignettes that demonstrated the key features and highlighted their sleek design, high gloss finishes, sinuous curves, and LED lighting. The event included a scenic kitchen and “Chef’s Table”-style dinner with Scarpetta owner and Food Network chef Scott Conant, as well as a cocktail party lounge with VIP areas for celebrity guests, which included Tyrese, Victor Cruz, Gigi Hadid, Hilary Swank, QuestLove, and Sophia Bush.



The look and feel of the space was designed to mimic the innovation-led characteristics of the Galaxy S6. Black lacquer, mixed metals, textured grays, and clean white served as the canvas for jewel-toned lighting and a custom architectural chandelier that casted geometric shadows.



TVG fabricated a full scenic kitchen, portable walls, a custom curved 30 seat table, two bars, and a DJ booth with embedded lighting. The elements set the scene for the simultaneous events.



The event had a 3-week turnaround time with many custom elements. TVG was able to leverage its in-house fabrication shop and network of trusted vendors to work overtime and pull off their highest impact Samsung project to-date.



30 influencers in sports, music, entertainment, and fashion attended the dinner, and 450 industry influencers attended the after-party.
