Pandora partnered up with T-Mobile to create an immersive, magenta-filled, unforgettable experience for consumers to enjoy during the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Visionary Group was brought on to handle production on the event, and to create a “magenta moment” that would wow event attendees, thereby spreading awareness and excitement surrounding Pandora and T-Mobile as brands.

CONCEPT

Pandora sought to put on a memorable Coachella experience featuring an immersive magenta theme, instagrammable custom photo opportunities, festival-themed engaging activations, and Pandora/T-Mobile co-branded touchpoints organically integrated throughout the entire event space.

The Visionary Group worked alongside their in-house fabrication shop White Walls Fabrication to custom fabricate a floral entry tunnel, a step & repeat featuring wall flats with dimensionals that were spray painted magenta and pink, restroom walls, an A-Frame Tent, and the “Big Gerald” life-sized Piñata.

TVG handled signage and branding, creative/concept ideation and renderings, custom fabrication, sourcing furniture, decor, and event activations, onsite event management, and producing the event’s signature Magenta Moment featuring hot pink smoke bombs.

The event was deemed a success by the client, garnering an attendance of over 800 guests. The event received coverage by industry publications including Event Marketer and Biz Bash.
