The Visionary Group partnered with Microsoft for the much anticipated launch of Windows 10 in 16 Microsoft stores across the country. For these events, TVG created custom pop-up kiosks that walked consumers through the new features of the Surface Pro 3 tablet, demoed games on the latest Xbox console, and rewarded Microsoft product owners with the opportunity for free system upgrades at the store. For 2 weeks, the pop-ups drew customers from high traffic areas to Microsoft stores within each mall. Ten lucky locations hosted meet-and-greet events with star athletes and one location held a surprise OneRepublic concert on the official day of the launch.

CONCEPT & VISION

Each pop-up included 5 kiosks, all of which highlighted a different feature of a Microsoft product. Help desks were located on-site and included Microsoft tech experts. Microsoft’s signature blue and wood were prominent design notes.
