Calvin Klein: Apparel Brand Brings On New CMO

Image of Marie Gulin-Merle, who has been tapped as the new Chief Marketing Officer for Calvin Klein after leaving L'Oreal USA.As reported by AdAge, Marie Gulin-Merle is leaving her post as L’Oreal USA’s Chief Marketing Officer to take on the role of CMO at Calvin Klein. In her new position, Gulin-Merle’s initiatives include expanding CK’s global marketing platforms and voice, and building up consumer engagement. Given the fact that CK hasn’t had an active CMO in over a year, we’d imagine we’ll see a substantial boost in the brand’s marketing efforts in the coming months. Needless to say, we’ll be interested in seeing how much energy Calvin Klein devotes to all things experiential under Gulin-Merle’s leadership.
